The start of the Autumn term is Wednesday 4th September at 8.45am. Students will be given their timetable & planner on this day. Students in Year 7 will be involved in an anti-bullying/friendship activities all day. Students in Year 8 to 11 will have normal lessons on this day.

A reminder that GCSE results day is Thursday 22nd August. Students in Year 11 are invited in at 9am to collect their results and students in Year 9 and 10 are invited in at 10am. Please be aware that students and parents/carers will need to enter school via the library entrance.

Students within the unit make their Option choices with guidance and advice from subject teachers, parents/carers and Unit staff.

Students within the Unit usually follow one less Option to enable them to spend time in the Unit gaining curriculum support, study skills and also continuing their individual literacy programmes.

Students will be seen by the IAG (Information, Advice and Guidance) Adviser when planning for Post-16 courses either at college or sixth form.  Students are supported in completing application forms, personal statements and preparing for interviews.
