Bus message number two

Posted: 2nd September 2016

Dear Parents/carers,

I hope the summer break is still going well for you despite the recent news about the bus and the price increases.  I am sending this to parents/carers who have written to me about the fact that ACME transport services have increased bus prices as I want to ensure that we alleviate the problems caused by this price increase.

In terms of ACME transport services and my meeting the following is what we as a TRUST are planning to do to alleviate the recent price rises by this bus company.

I have met the manager of this company on Thursday 1st September 2016.

On Wednesday 14th September at 6pm I will hold a meeting in the school library and all parents/carers are invited with a concern with this issue. This meeting will outline plans for how we as a school and part of BMAT will address this issue as we want all our students to remain at FHS despite these increases in bus prices.

My advice to all parents/carers at present is to only pay for a one month place on this service. Further details will be outlined at this meeting but we are planning to ensure that the effects of these bus increases will be alleviated.

I hope to see you at this meeting. Any further details you can pass onto me please let me know

Kind regards

Mr. Hehir
