Uniform

Students are expected to wear school uniform. It provides a suitable standard of dress, it reflects a sense of belonging to the school community and it does help to remove some of the obvious differences in wealth. We hope you and your child will be proud to display the fact that he/she is a student of Forest Hall School.

You will receive information about Top Form, a uniform stockist, but black blazers and black trousers may be purchased from other stockists providing they meet the school requirements.

School Blazer
Black designer style jacket (with school badge)
House Tie
With House colours
Jumper (optional)
Black knitted V neck. Sweatshirts or hooded tops are NOT to be worn
School Skirt or Black Trousers
Trousers must be plain, straight and of a tailored variety. No tight fitting/’skinny’ trousers, cords, jeans, fancy trims or fastenings. Cropped trousers, footless tights or leggings are not acceptable. The hem of the skirt must be at the knee. The black school skirt can only be bought from Top Form in Harlow.
Shirt
White. Worn tucked in. Must be worn buttoned at the neck.

FULL SCHOOL UNIFORM MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES, INCLUDING TO AND FROM SCHOOL.

ALL UNIFORM SHOULD BE CLEARLY NAMED, WE CANNOT ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY FOR LOST ITEMS OF UNIFORM, OR PERSONAL BELONGINGS- THIS INCLUDES SMART WATCHES.

Parents may sometimes be persuaded to buy fashion garments and shoes which then find their way to school as uniform and can wear out. We ask you to bear in mind that the uniform requirements set out above are long term.
